What thread is my PDR knockdown tip?

Differences In Knockdown Threads From Different PDR tool companies
There are a couple of different threads that your knockdown tip can be. If you buy from paintless dent repair tool companies within the United States then your knockdown tip will most likely be a 5/16 coarse thread. Foreign PDR companies, especially Asia, are generally 8mm, which is also known as an M8 thread. This can create some confusion when you buy from sites like Ali Express or Amazon and your knockdown tips for Paintless Dent Repair do not fit your current set of tools. I've even bought and returned Ali Express knockdown tips that say 5/16" in the description, but when they arrived, they would not fit any of my PDR tools.
How We Try To Solve This Issue At 3DPaintless.com
I try to solve this problem by offering some paintless dent repair tools with an M8 thread. Like this knockdown tool that is made specifically for foreign tips. I created this knockdown because I previously bought some knockdown tips that were threaded with an M8 thread and was unable to use them with any of my USA made knockdowns in my Paintless Dent Repair tool kit. Please be conscious of the fact that this knockdown will NOT fit the 3D Combo Tips that are available at 3DPaintless.com.
Tools with an M8 thread are marked very clearly on the title for the tool and also the description so that there is no confusion. Rest assured; all of my paintless dent repair tools are 5/16 thread unless they are marked otherwise. The last thing that I want is somebody to pay good money for a tool that they might not be able to use. All M8 threaded tools are available for purchase on this collection page.
Why It Is Useful to Have Both Versions of This Threaded Knockdown
Paintless Dent Repair tools are expensive. We here at 3DPaintless want you to get the most out of your money. Being region-locked out of some tools that might be useful to you because no other tool company offers threaded knockdowns in a certain style goes against our mission statement, which is to bring affordable tools into the tool carts of technicians in the United States.
